Pan African Institute for Development – East & Southern Africa — Admissions

What we collect

When you submit an admissions application we collect the following personal information:

  • Full name, date of birth, and country of origin
  • Email address and phone number
  • Documents you upload (CV, academic certificates, ID, supporting letters, proof of payment, and any other files you choose to attach)
  • The programme you applied for and the date of submission

How we use it

Your information is used solely to process your admissions application. Specifically:

  • To review your eligibility for the programme you applied for
  • To contact you about your application status
  • To create your student account if you are admitted

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who can see your data

Only authorised staff members of Pan African Institute for Development – East & Southern Africa — specifically the admissions team and relevant administrative personnel — have access to your application and supporting documents.

How long we keep it

Applications that are not admitted or withdrawnare retained for a minimum of one academic year for audit and appeals purposes, after which they may be deleted. Admitted applicants' data is transferred to the student record system and retained for the duration of their enrolment and as required by applicable law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting the Admissions Office directly. If your application has not yet been decided, you can also withdraw it through the applicant portal.
